از میان بیش از ۹۷۵ طرح ارسالی که در ۱۴ بخش به دبیرخانه جایزه معماری ملی استرالیا فرستاده شده است، هیئت داوران ۷۰ پروژه را به عنوان کاندیدادهای نهایی این جایزه معتبر انتخاب کرده اند. نگاهی به این کاندیداها نشان می دهد که سطح معماری در استرالیا نسبت به چند دهه گذشته پیشرفت بسیاری داشته است و اکثر این پروژه خیره کننده و اعجاب انگیز هستند.
در بیانیه هیئت داوران آمده است: “ما تحت تاثیر ، پیشرفت، برنامه های توسعه و نوآوری های که منتج به استقامت و پایداری می شود شده ایم. این جایزه فرصتی ملی، برای بازتاب آنچه استفاده از مناظر طبیعی، طبیعت بکر ، شرایط شهرنشینی و اقتصادی امروز استرالیا نامیده می شود خواهد بود”.
همچنین مثل رسم هر ساله مردم نیز در این جایزه مشارکت خواهند داشت و پروژه محبوب مردم نیز انتخاب خواهد شد. برندگان این رویداد ۱ نوامبر امسال اعلام خواهند شد.
